It is the university’s window to society, serving as a link between the university and its internal audience of staff and students, and as a tool to establish strong and distinguished relationships between the university administration and the external public, including institutions and various segments of society. The importance of this unit stems from its aim to create a positive impression, enhance the university’s reputation, and promote a good mental image through the functions and tasks assigned to it, highlighting the university’s civilized image, its staff, achievements, and future projects to all interacting entities, gaining their trust and respect. It also documents relationships among administrative units and academic departments within the university, fosters internal communication, and supervises the organization of conferences, seminars, scientific forums, and events.

  1. Monitor and cover various university activities and events.

  2. Prepare reports and press interviews organized or supervised by the university.

  3. Edit news received from various university colleges and units.

  4. Provide news about university activities to news agencies, daily newspapers, and websites.

  5. Track news about the university published in newspapers and websites.

  6. Follow up on news about the university from all news agencies.

  7. Perform any other tasks assigned by the university presidency or the IT Center management.

Translator

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  1. Translate official books and publications issued or received by the university from Arabic to English and vice versa, including content on the university website.

  2. Summarize university documents and reports written in foreign languages and translate them into Arabic.

  3. Interpret conversations between university officials and their guests when needed.

  4. Perform any other tasks assigned by the university presidency or the IT Center management.
